Start at something random

Nothing's so special about today. If it were not declared a "special" non-working holiday (to pay respect to former Philippine president Corazon Aquino's wake), it would have turned out to be another routinary and exhausting Wednesday like all Wednesdays have always felt like recently. I would have gone to the office to settle my work backlog once and for all. Or I would have gone to POEA to watch our enumerators bother OFWs for some survey they have no idea about and, thus, are apprehensive to participate in. 

Today is free day - no work - and I chose to spend it alone and lonely. 

I'm thinking... it would have been fun to go out with friends, drink a cup of Starbucks frappe, watch a movie, and so on... if only I had friends to go out with.
